Micromax Canvas 2 Launched In Sri Lanka

Micromax Informatics, one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world, officially introduced its latest smartphone Canvas 2 to the Sri Lankan market recently. The damage-resistant Canvas 2 has a five-inch HD screen, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage that is expandable with up to a 64GB microSD card, 13MP and 5MP cameras, fingerprint recognition and a battery that can last up to 11 hours.

It comes with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, while its main camera also comes with enhanced features, including bokeh effect and panorama shot. The 1.3GHz quad-core processor on the Canvas 2 strikes the perfect balance between power and performance. Micromax Vice President and Head of International Business Sameer Kakar said that the aim is to get into the top three brands in the smartphone category in Sri Lanka. He was speaking at the launch ceremony, which was held at Taj Samudra Hotel.
