The Department of Immigration and Emigration has introduced on line travel authorization system for travelers to Sri Lanka who will have to apply for travel approval in advance to their arrival in Sri Lanka. Perera , says foreign nationals who apply for visa on various grounds such as medical purposes, conferences, cultural shows, sport events, tourism, business and trainings can now apply for visa through new system which is effective from today 1st January 2012.
