White House Fence Jumper Quickly Detained By Secret Service

A man jumped over the White House fence Wednesday night -- but he barely made it onto the lawn before two police dogs took him down.

"Dog got him," a Secret Service spokesman said.

The Secret Service identified the man as Dominic Adesanya of Bel Air, Maryland, and said charges against him are pending.

The two dogs with the K-9 unit were taken to a vet for injuries they suffered in the incident.

Wednesday's incident is the second time someone jump the fence at the White House in the last month.

In mid-September, a man, whom authorities identified as Omar Gonzalez, scaled a fence and, armed with a knife, made it into the White House before he was detained.

Gonzalez's indictment has been delayed until he undergoes a full mental competency evaluation.
