MR Meets PM Following JMO Reports On Thajudeen Murder

December 04, 2015

A day after the JMO report claiming former Rugby Player Wasim Thajudeen had been murdered,  former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had held a closed door discussion with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, informed political sources said.

The meeting had taken place inside the Parliamentary complex this afternoon, a top government source told Asian Mirror.

He said the meeting took place following a request from the former President.

However, the matters discussed at the closed door meeting were kept as a closely guarded secret by both parties.

It was widely speculated that Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the former President's second son, was linked to Thajudeen's case.
