Even after repeated criticism from political leaders and other concerned individuals, the BBC continues to give legitimacy to the so-called 'Islamic State' terrorist group.

In a report published on its website a short while ago titled 'The Afghan district stuck between IS and the Taliban', the name Islamic State is used without any indication that it is a self-proclaimed group.

The danger in using this is obvious, since the so-called 'Islamic State' is not merely a terrorist group but a group which wants to recreate an 'Islamic Caliphate' which it calls 'Islamic State'.

In January, British Prime Minister David Cameron criticised BBC for its use of the term 'Islamic State', during its radio broadcasts.

“I think Muslim families around the country would have held their heads in despair this morning when once again you just called it Islamic State. You didn’t even say ‘so-called Islamic State’. It’s so important,” he said.
