The Sri Lankan diplomatic mission in Dubai has decorated its Independence Day cake with the state symbol and the national flag of Sri Lanka. ‘Asian Mirror’ has obtained a picture of the Independence Day cake with which the Sri Lankan officials in Dubai celebrated the glory of independence.
The Sri Lankan government has repeatedly stated that it would take stern action against those who misuse the Sri Lankan national flag and religious symbols.
However, no action has so far been taken against the senior officials of the diplomatic mission in Dubai.
