Sri Lanka Under-19 Team Reach Semi-finals After Beating England Comprehensively

Sri Lanka Under-19 cricket team beat England comprehensively by six wickets to reach the Under 19 World Cup Semi Finals.

Despite winning the toss and choosing to bat first, England could manage only 184 runs in 49.2 overs in the morning session of the match which was worked out at Sher Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Bangladesh.

Callum Taylor top scored for England with 42.

In response, Sri Lanka cruised along in the chase, anchored by a spectacular 95 by Avishka Fernando. He faced 96 balls and hit 11 boundaries and a six in his innings.

Sri Lanka chased down the target in 35.4 overs.
