A special Information Center has been set up at the Government Information Department to coordinate disaster management activities. The unit will coordinate all the organizations come under the Disaster Management Ministry. The updates of the disasters will be communicated to the general public through the Unit. Early warnings will also be given through the newly built entity. Attention has been drawn on educating the people on future drought condition that has been predicted by the meteorologists.
