Japanese Expert Team On Disaster Management Submits Report To Sri Lanka

The team of experts from Japan who arrived to conduct a technical study of Sri Lanka’s preparation for adverse weather conditions submitted its reports to the Minister of Disaster Management Anura Priyadharshana Yapa.

The 15-member team had made several suggestions to Sri Lankan authorities in the report, which included resettling people who live in vulnerable areas and providing training for people to evacuate immediately during disaster situations.
