Northern Provincial Council (NPC) Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran has informed the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) that he will withdraw the order made suspending Northern Provincial Council Health and Transport Minsters for a period of a month.

The Chief Minister had recommended the suspension of the two Ministers; P. Denieswaran and P. Sathiyalinghan to until renewed investigation into allegations of bribery and corruption are complete.

An inquiry had previously exonerated four ministers from charges of bribery and corruption but Chief Minister Wigneswaran had asked for the resignation of two of the ministers; P. Ayinkaranesan and T.Kurukularajah.
