European Union Ambassador in Sri Lanka Tung-Lai Maruge met with Foreign Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, yesterday.

The two dignitaries discussed the progress of the GSP+ trade concessions to Sri Lanka, which was granted to Sri Lanka after a hiatus of 7 years, this year.

European Union Ambassador in Sri Lanka Tung-Lai Maruge also congratulated Foreign Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake on his new appointment.

Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake appreciated the sentiments expressed by the European Union Ambassador in Sri Lanka Tung-Lai Maruge.
