Yoshitha Arrives Before FCID To Make Statement Into Money Laundering Charges: Was Due On September 12

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s second son Yoshitha Rajapaksa arrived before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) of the Police this morning to record a statement on charges of money laundering.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa is suspect to have used monies gained illegally to purchase land and a house on Mihindu Mawatha in Mount Lavinia and another in Ratmalana.

The former President’s second son was due before the FCID on September 12 but had informed the body he was unable to attend due to personal reasons.
