A five-storey building in Kataluwa, Ahangama collapsed this morning injuring five persons.

Police said the five injured persons were rushed to the Karapitiya Hospital.  

Investigations are underway to rescue one other person trapped under the debris.

Police said they are yet uncertain of how the five-storey building – a hotel – collapsed.
