Sri Lanka and 127 other countries voted against US President Donald Trump's unilateral recognition of Jerusalam as the capital of Israel. 

Only nine countries , ones that hugely depend on US aid voted against the resolution rebuking Trump's decision while 35 countries abstained. 

Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN, said Washington will remember the countries that disrespected the US.
