National Film Corporation Chairman Sithendra Senaratne Likely To Be Replaced Soon: New Chairman Yet To Be Decided

Chairman of the National Film Corporation Sithendra Senaratne is likely to be removed soon, Asian Mirror reliably learns. 

Senaratne, a businessman, had no visible connection with the film industry until he was appointed the Chairman of the film corporation. 

Informed government sources said some administrative lapses on the part of the corporation have quickened the removal of the film corporation chairman. 

A sound clip was released to media recently in which Senaratne was heard leaking some information about one of his phone calls with the Prime Minister to an outside party.

It is also learnt that the government is still undecided new Chairman of the film corporation.
