Dayasiri Leaves CID Premises After Giving 5 Hour Statement On His Dealings With Aloysius

Former Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera left the CID after giving a four hour statement on receiving money from Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjuna Aloysius. 

Jayasekera was asked to visit the CID this morning to record a statement in relation to the ongoing Treasury Bonds investigation. 

The Criminal Investigations Department informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate recently that Jayasekera had received Rs. 1 million from a company owned by Arjuna Aloysius. 

The CID said Walt and Row company, owned by Perpetual Treasuries owner Aloysius, had paid this money to Jayasekera two years ago.
