Chandimal Loses His Appeal: Suranga Lakmal To Be 16th Test Captain Of Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan Test captain Dinesh Chandimal lost the appeal against the one match match imposed on him over the ball tampering allegation. 

The  International Cricket Council appointed its Code of Conduct Committee Chairman Michael Beloff as the Judicial Commissioner to hear Sri Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal's appeal today.

Beloff too sanctioned the one match ban imposed on Chandimal by match referee Javagal Srinath.

Sri Lankan paceman Suranga Lakmal will captain the Sri Lankan side for the third Test match against West Indies starting today. 

Lakmal will be 16th Test captain of Sri Lanka.
