Contempt Of Court Case: Appeal Court's Verdict On BBS General Secretary Gnanasara Thera On August 08
​Court of Appeal verdict on Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera is to be delivered on August 08. 
Gnanasara Thera was convicted for contempt of court last month and was sentenced to a 3 months Rigorous Imprisonment. 
He was later released on bail pending the verdict of the Court of Appeal. 
Gnanasara Thera was prosecuted for threatening missing journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda's wife, Sandya Ekneligoda, within the Homagama Magistrate's Court premises.​
