Sri Lanka experienced the 10th consecutive ODI defeat when they lost the second ODI against South Africa, in Dambulla. 

Sri Lanka, currently ranked 08th on the OCC ODI ranking, has not won a bilateral ODI series in almost two years. 

South Africa comfortably defeated Sri Lanka yesterday and recorded their second win in the ODI series. 

If Sri Lanka fails to win the next match at Pallekele, the team will lose the 05 match ODI series against South Africa.
