Faf De Plessis Ruled Out Of Bilateral Series Against Sri Lanka: South Africa Yet To Officially Name Stand-in Captain

South African caatain Faf Du Plessis has been ruled out of the ongoing bilateral series against Sri Lanka due to a shoulder injury. 

The South African captain injured his shoulder while attempting to catch the ball to dismiss Akila Dhananjaya during the 3rd ODI match in Pallekele.

South Africa is yet to name a stand-in captain for the remainder of the series. 

Quinton de Cock, the South African wicketkeeper-batsman captained the side when Du Plesis left the field on Sunday after the injury.
