​Sagala Among 19 Global High-level Government Leaders Visiting Korea: Honduras Vice President Too Included

The Korea Foundation (KF) has​ announced that Project Management, Youth Affairs and Southern Development Minister Sagala Ratnayaka will be among the 19 high-level government leaders visiting the country this week.

President of the Korea Foundation (KF) Sihyung Lee told the Korean media that the purpose of the visit is to strengthen the country's global image by educating world political leaders on the Korean society, its economy and the country's system of governance. 

"The visit also focuses on a people-to-people networking system," Lee told Korean media. 

In addition to the Sri Lankan Minister,  Maria Antonieta, a Vice President of Honduras has also been included in the global leaders' delegation. During the visit, the group will interact with a number of political and business leaders of the East Asian economic giant. 

The Korean Foundation is affiliated with Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and functions as a non-profit public diplomacy organization working to strengthen the country's international organization. Since its establishment in 1991, the Korean Foundation has hosted many prominent global leaders in the country and it operates 07 overseas offices on 03 continents, including in Beijing, Berlin, Tokyo, Moscow, Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Hanoi.
