Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, in another letter, informed Presidnet Maithripala Sirisena that the second no confidence vote against Mahinda Rajaoaksa was adopted by the House.

The Speaker had informed the President that the second no confidence motion did not include the clause on the two gazette notifications issued by Sirisena. 

He also started that the no confidence motion was adopted in the House according to Standing Orders. 

Before the first motion was presented to Parliament earlier this week, the majority of Parliamentarians voted to suspend Standing Orders..

Along with the letter, the Speaker also sent him a list of signatures of all Parliamentarians who supported the motion.
