The Presidential Secretariat has prohibited media from entering the Presidential Secretariat to cover the swearing-in ceremony of UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Prime Minister. 

Asian Mirror learns that the President has ordered to shut the media out of the event. 

Meanwhile, only a handful of UNP MPs will be allowed to accompany the Prime Minister at the Presidential Secretariat. 

Wickremesinghe, our sources said, has already arrived at the Presidential Secretariat for the swearing-in ceremony.
