Perpetual Treasuries Owner Arjuna Aloysius and CEO Kasun Palisena Released On Bail With Travel Ban And Seemingly Light Conditions

Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjuna Aloysius and CEO Kasun Palisena were released on bail today under seemingly light bail conditions.

They were released under one million cash bail, four sureties of two million for each suspect with a travel ban.

They have also been ordered to appear before the Criminal Investigations Department every Sunday.

Aloysius and Palisena were arrested and remanded on February 04, last year, over the Treasury bonds scam.

They were in remand for nearly 11 months. Another key suspect in the case, former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendra, is yet to be arrested by the Police.
