Johann And Jayanthi Embark On ‘Seven Summits Challenge’: Now Off To Climb Aconcagua in Argentina [VIDEO]

Jayanthi Kuru-Utumpala, the first Sri Lankan to summit Mt. Everest, and her climbing partner Johann Peries who became the second Sri Lankan to summit the world’s tallest peak, have now embarked on a mission to climb the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. 

Known as the Seven Summits Challenge, the mountains will include Denali in North America, Aconcagua in South America, Vinson in Antartica, and Kilimanjaro in Africa. It will be the Sri Lankan climbing duo’s third peak, in their quest to complete the challenge.
