President's Alleged Supporter Namal Kumara Spotted Among Those Who Staged Protest Against Tamil Name Board Within Sri Pàda Premises

Namal Kumara who revealed the alleged assassination plot on President Maithripala Sirisena was among those who staged a protest opposite the Buddhist Affairs ministry against a Tamil name board within the Sri Pàda premises. 

The protesters said the Tamil name board, erected by the Maskeliya Pradeshiya Sabha. described Sri Pàda as a Hindu religious place. 

Sri Pàda is worshipped by many religious communities in Sri Lanka for different reasons. 

Dan Priyasad, an ally of BBS chief Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera, and representatives of several other organizations were present at the protest. 

Namal Kumara, a former employee at the Presidential Secretariat and an Army deserter, claims he is a supporter of President Maithripala Sirisena.
