A minor explosion was reported near the St, Anthony's shrine, Kochchikade, a short while ago when security persons attempted to defuse explosives in a vehicle. 

 

The incident took place near the site of the first attack yesterday, which killed over 50 people. 

 

The explosives were hidden in a parcel that was kept inside the vehicle, Police sources added. 

 

They added that the vehicle is suspected to have transported explosive for the attack yesterday.
