No Police Curfew Today As Situation In The Country Has Returned To Normalcy: Police Media Spokesman

Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera said police curfew would not be imposed in any part of the country as the situation has returned to normalcy.

No violent incident has been reported in the country since the Police imposed countrywide curfew on Monday night.

However, curfew was imposed on the Northwestern province and the Gampaha police division last night, as a precautionary measure.

Meanwhile, the Police Media Spokesman also added that an individual named Mohammed Rizwan, a close associate of National Thowheed Jamaath Leader Zaharan Hashim, has been arrested in Mabola-Wattala.
