Two close associates of National Thowheed Jamaath Leader Zaharan Hashim were arrested by the Police at Horowpathana today.

The arrests were made by the Police Special Task Force (STF), police sources said.

Investigation are underwear to establish their connection to the Easter Sunday explosions, they also added.

Meanwhile, an individual named Mohammed Rizwan was arrested in Mabola, Wattala, yesterday for his alleged links with extremist militants.
