The Joint Opposition MP Dillas Alabapperuma said his camp would launch a hundred-day programme to send the current government home.

Addressing a press conference, Alahapperuma said the programme would follow the announcement of the party's Presidential candidate next month.

He confirmed that Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa would announce the name of the Presidential candidate on August 11.

The National Convention of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) would take place at the Sugathadasa Infoor Stadium on August 11.
