Fire Erupts In Sri Lanka's Prominent Tourism Area Ella: SLTDA Says "Wildfire Occurred In Steep And Inaccessible Area"

A major fire erupted in the Ella rock — a prominent tourist destination in the country.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) said the wildfire occurred in an isolated, steep area that no one can access.

Quoting the area Police, the SLTDA added necessary measures have been taken to mitigate the damage.
