The United National Front (UNF) parliamenary group is expected to meet this evening after the party Working Committee meeting.

This will be the first parliamentary group meeting of the ruling party, after Sajith Premadasa's nomination as the Presidential candidate.

The decision was made unanimously at a meeting held at Temple Trees this morning, with the participation of key office bearers of the party.

UNP Working Committee will ratifiy the party Deputy Leader's name as the Presidential candidate.

UNF Parliamentary group will follow suit setting the stage for the official launch of Premadasa's election campaign.
