SLPP Presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has left for Singapore for medical treatment.

Rajapaksa received permission from the court last week to fly overseas for medical treatment.

He is expected to return to the country on October 12.

Rajapaksa underwent a heart surgery in Singapore before the SLPP nominated him as the Presidential candidate.
