Voter turnout in the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election is more than 75% according to the final count, the District Returning Officer said.

Counting votes is currently underway and the final result is expected to be announced before 10 PM.

No serious incidents of election violence were reported during polling.

Elpitiya PS election takes place a month before a crucial Presidential election.
