Central Bank Of Sri Lanka Extends Suspension On Perpetual Treasuries By Six More Months

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has extended the suspension on Perpetual Treasuries from carrying out activities as a primary dealer for six more months.

Perpetual Treasuries is at the heart of the Treasury bonds controversy, which is currently being investigated by the Sri Lankan law enforcement authorities.

The company faced a suspension after the Police launched an investigation into the scam.

The assets of the company have also been seized by the Central bank.
