Sri Lanka Detects First Case Of Deadly Novel Coronavirus Wuhan Pneumonia

The first case of the deadly nCoV-2019 coronavirus has been detected in Sri Lanka.

The victim is a Chinese woman who arrived in the country from Hubei province.

She was one of four patients taken to the Infectious Disease Hospital with suspected symptoms of the virus.

Although her firsts tests had proven negative, subsequent testing proved she positive.

The Health Promotion Bureau has asked the public not panic unduly but to be vigilant.
