If Measures To Control The Spread Of Corona Virus Fail, Catholic Archdiocese Will Decide On Closing Down Catholic Schools: Cardinal

Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith has said if measures to control the spread of Corona Virus fail, the Catholic Archdiocese of Colombo will make a decision on closing down Catholic schools.

Cardinal said they would cooperate with the Education Ministry and the key decision-makers of the education sector in this regard.

Addressing a press conference in Colombo, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith commended the government's decision to repatriate Sri Lankan students in China.

A 43-year-old Chinese tourist, who was diagnosed with Corona Virus, is currently receiving treatment in Sri Lanka.
