Foreign Ministry Says Sri Lankan Embassy In S. Korea Closely Monitoring Situation Due To Rise Of Corona Virus Cases

Foreign Affairs Ministry says Sri Lankan Embassy in Seoul has been closely monitoring and coordinating efforts to ensure the safety of Sri Lankans residing in South Korea, following recent rise of corona virus cases.

No Sri Lankan in South Korea has fallen victim to the virus yet.

However, the Ministry said hotlines and a Helpdesk have been put in place to support Sri Lankans living in the country.

A sizable proportion of Sri Lankan expatriates are working in various parts of South Korea.
