Sri Lanka Muslim Congress led by Rauff Hakeem decides to support Sajith Premadasa's "Samagi Jana Balavegaya" at the General Election.

Several other affiliated parties of the United National Front have also pledged support to Premadasa's alliance.

The Samagi Jana Balavegaya will officially be launched on March 02 at a grand ceremony in Colombo.

However, the symbol of the alliance still remaina a mystery.
