The Sri Lankan government has suspended on arrival visa for all tourists as an attempt to prevent the spread of Corona Virus in Sri Lanka.

The decision was made after a local tour guide who had been with an Italian group diagnosed with COVID19 infection.

This is the first SriLankan who has been detected with the deadly virus.

The 52-year old tour guide is currently under treatment at the IDH hospital.
