The Government Information Department confirmed that three more COVID-19 patients have been identified in Sri Lanka.

With the latest development, the official number of COVID-19 patients in the country has risen to 5.

One of the three confirmed patients had recently returned to the country from a visit to Germany.

The other two have been identified from the Kandakadu quarantine facility.

Over 60 people are currently under medical observation with suspected symptoms.
