The Road Development Authority (RDA) says that all expressways will be closed for motorists from 4.00 p.m. today (20). All vehicles will no be allowed entry to any of the expressways from 4.00 p.m. The decision has been taken owing to the curfew to be imposed island-wide from 6.00 p.m. today to 6.00 a.m. on Monday (23).

Meanwhile The Sri Lanka Railways says that all train services will be halted from 3.30 p.m. today and will resume at 6.00 a.m. on Monday (23).
