The brother of Former Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen, Riyad Bathiudeen, has been arrested in Puttalam over the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.

The arrest has been made by a special Police team.

The attacks, which claimed over 260 lives, took place exactly an year a go. Rishad Bathiudeen is the leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Congress.
