All MPs In Dissolved Parliament Requested To Attend Special Meeting At Temple Trees

All MPs who represented the dissolved Parliament have been called for a special meeting at the Temple Trees on Monday.

The meeting is expected to be chaired by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

All former MPs will be briefed on the current situation in the country at the meeting, informed government sources said.

Opposition parties earlier this week issued a joint letter to reopen Parliament and secure adequate budgets to fight the COVID19 outbreak in the country.
