PM's Meeting For Ex-MPs Currently Underway Despite Boycott By Opposition Parties: Finance Ministry Officials, Task Force Members Also Attending

The meeting convened by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa for former MPs is currently underway at Temple Trees.

Several opposition parties, including the SJB, the JVP, and the UNP, have boycotted the meeting.

However, the Prime Minister decided to proceed with the meeting with the support of ruling party MPs.

Senior officials representing the Finance Ministry and members of the Presidential Task Force to revive the economy are also attending.
