Ex-LTTE bigwig and former Vice Chairman of the SLFP Vinayagamoorthi Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman has arrived at the Criminal investigations Department a short while ago.

The CID will record a statement from Karuna Amman over a controversial statement he made about killing 3000 soldiers in one night.

Although the CID was expected to record a statement from him yesterday, the former Deputy Minister said he was unable to appear before the CID as he was sick.
