One person has been killed and more than 20 others including former Uva Provincial Council Minister and UPFA Provincial Council candidate Senthil Thondaman have reportedly been injured in an accident in Bandarawela.

Reportedly, Thondaman’s vehicle had run over a crowd while engaged in propaganda work for the Uva PC election at the time. Today is the last day of the campaigning of the PC Council Election.

Thondaman is the nephew of government minister Arumugam Thondaman.
