A clash broke out between TNA and EPDP members during the District Development Committee meeting in Jaffna this morning.

It is learnt that a heated verbal battle that erupted between the two parties has ended up in fisticuffs.

Several Provincial Councilors who attended the meeting have sustained injuries. NPC Minister P. Ayngaranesan and Councilor K. Sarveswaran were also among the injured, sources said.
