Minister of Power and Energy Pavithra Wanniarachchi had said that she would sell her house in Pelmadulla if President Mahinda Rajapaksa did not .
Addressing a political rally of the President last Sunday (4), Wanniarachchi challenged anyone who doubt President Rajapaksa’s victory for a wager.
“If anyone says Mahinda Rajapasa will lose the Presidential Election, tell them to come for a wager. I will bet my house in Pelmadulla on our President’s victory”, Wanniarachchi said.
The Minister also expressed confidence that the President will be able to win the District of Rathnapura with a resounding majority.
