Michael Phelps Announces Retirement - 'This Time I Mean It'

"Done, done, done — and this time I mean it" Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, claimed in a live interview yesterday at the TODAY show.

He further mentioned that he finished swimming his last Olympic race ever.

Despite making the same claim four years ago, Phelps stated that "I wanted to come back and finish my career how I wanted and this was the cherry on top of the cake."

At Rio 2016, he claimed five gold medals and one silver medal. The 31-year-old swimmer who is cemented his title as the greatest swimmer of all time, has won 28 medals throughout his Olympic career.
